| 1. What do I need to watch these videos? |
Most videos can be played in any media players. There are three major players on the net and they are all free:
Windows Media Player from Microsoft, QuickTime
from Apple, RealPlayer from Real Network. More and more videos encoded for WMP 9 Series. If you have WMP 9 installed, you can player almost any format videos.
Some videos (mostly avi format) need DivX Codec, and you may want to install DirectX from Microsoft for better performance.
|
| 2. I have WMP9 installed, but I get error to play mpg (mpeg) videos? |
Open system32 folder, C:\WINDOWS\system32, find a file 'mcspmpeg.ax', rename it or delete it.
|
| 3. No sound? |
Almost all videos with sound, the problem may come from your computer. Look at the right bottom corner of your screen, double click on it, then bring up a window like below:
 Check nothing Mute.
|
| 4. The videos just won't play? |
It's time to clean your cache. If your cache is full, and you try to download a JPG or GIF picture, you will see .bmp format instead the original format.
Go to 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options', click 'Delete files'. You may want to check 'Delete all offline content' as well. Restart your browser.
